Mandy has been part of the Forest Bus team since the beginning of March 2008. She works for 25 hours a week as a Community Development Worker. She has been involved in “Spring into Art”, The Army Base (Parents & 5’S), Circle Time, YISP and most recently 2 separate sessions of one to one work connected with a local pupil referral unit. Before jhoining Forest Bus, Mandy was a leader of an After School Club, during which time she gained a level 3 Diploma in Playwork. Prior to this she was a Specialist Teaching Assistant for 12 years, working with children who had learning difficulties and/or behaviour problems. She has a City & Guilds in Learning Support and a Specialist Teaching Assistant Certificate.
In her spare time Mandy enjoys arts & crafts, particularly making greeting cards, decorating and spending time with her family.
