Yvette Fitzgerald joined the Forest Bus in May 08. She has 8 years of play work experience in various settings within the New Forest Area, including Environmental and Open Access Projects.
Yvette’s background also includes several years in Key Stage 1 / 2 Education where she has worked as a Special Needs Assistant. She has been ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) and FEIP’s (Framework For Enhanced Individual Pastoral Support) trained, working with young people within the realms of emotional and behaviour support.
Yvette’s qualifications includes a City & Guilds Learning Support Certificate, Cache Level 2 Play work Certificate, AQA Introduction to Counselling Concepts and Paediatric First Aid.
Since joining the Forest Bus Yvette has used her expreinec and skills to deliver projects such as Circle Time, parent and toddlers Groups, after-school Clubs and Youth sessions. She hopes to begin a youth work qualification in the near future and also recently has gained a certificate for MIDAS.
