Debbie has been with the Forest Bus since the start of January 2008, and is employed as a Community Development Worker. She currently works on sessions with Gypsy/Traveller Communities and also under 5’s and Parents/After school sessions.
She has a background in Early Years work and has a cache Child Care and Education qualification. Debbie brings her skills in under 5's work to plan and deliver this work as well as family group sessions. She has also completed training in Counselling, SENCO )Special Educational Needs C0-orderinator) and challenging behaviour and first aid. All of this experience is of great benefit to the people with whom we work.
Debbie also holds a certificate for working with sight and hearing impaired children and would like to extend her skills further by taking a course in Makaton.
Debbie has just completed a course in Community Development and would like to expand her experience by delivering Youth Work some time in the future.
