Jane has been general manager/chief executive of the Forest Bus since 2001. She is a qualified social worker, with a passion and belief in community development. Jane has a BA honours in social work practice, plus a post graduate diploma in management of voluntary oregansiations. In 2008, she gained an Msc in professional studies, which includes specialist modules on management and leadership of voluntary organisations. In July 09 she qualified as a practice educator for social work students. In her previous role at New Forest Social services she gained a great deal of experience in working with the Gypsy Traveller Community, the main ethnic grup in Hampshire. Jane is responsible for the managment of the Charity as well as raising funds to both keep the project going, and to ensure future sustainability. In addition Jane helps other groups raise moiney for their work.
