| Initially the project partnership with the Children’s Centre of New Milton commenced in the middle of May at the North Milton Estate as consultation work with several communities of New Milton. The session was well attended here, with up to approximately 10 parents and 20-25 young people. The project was divided into two parts: parent and toddler from 13:30 to 15:30 hours and then an after school session from 15:30 to 17:00 hours. |  |
Parents and children were consulted about what they needed, resulting in stimulating activities for all age groups.
We have recently moved to a new site at Fawcett’s Field with the aim of working particularly with the residents of Barton. Each week the sessions have been increasingly busier with more children and parents attending. Feedback from both parents and children has been very positive, with comments relating to the lack of other such services available.
