Teenagers Tim and Alicia live in a village which is isolated and lacking in any facilities at all. Due to family breakdown, Tim lived with his grandmother while Alicia lived with her mother. Tim had been in trouble with the police and although they only lived a few miles from one another, they hadn't seen each other for over a year, and they missed each other very much. There had been no communication between them at all. When the Forest Bus visited the village to provide a youth group, Tim seized the opportunity to make contact with Alicia and they arranged to meet at the group. They began to meet on the bus every week and from this they re kindled their brother and sister relationship, and were then able to continue to have contact on a regular basis. We saw a big change in Tim, who not only became more positive in his behaviour, but who also began to contribute to the sessions and helping planning activities for the younger age group. Tim was reunited with his mother, and then went on to undertake a modern apprenticeship and is doing well.
